How can we raise our children as Parents

How can we raise our children

Firstly there’s been a huge rise in digital dementia in children and even adults. This where they begin to lose track of thoughts, time and become forgetful very easily. This is now how we want to raise the next generation.

How can we raise our children

The easiest thing for a parent to do is to put their child in front of a screen. As a parent it can become all too much at times and we just need a break, best thing we can do is to go out into nature, and involve them in anything we’re doing. Things may get a little more messy, more frustration may arise, yet it’s the only way they’ll learn.

How do children learn

Kids find it easy to mimic, so if they’re constantly seeing you in front of a screen, they want that more. If they see you yelling, they’ll yell. If they see you training, eating well, communicating and playing.. they’ll do just that. At their core they simply love to play and as a parent it’s our responsibility to play with them as much as we can. This builds trust, a nurturing and loving upbringing. It makes us connect with our inner child more and brings our playful essence out.

How can you Support your child

In a world full of distractions, it can be easy to forget about our inner child that wants to play. When your child wants to play with you, do it, because before you know it, they’ll be all grown up, and you’ll wish they were wanting to play with you. The first years of their life are so precious, yet as a parent we feel we need to provide and work, so they can have all the things we didn’t, when really they just want more of our time. It’s tricky when we have to pay the bills, make a living etc - find the balance between the two worlds and offer your presence as much as you can, it’s the greatest gift you’ll ever give them.

✍️ Conclusion

Get your children outside, be the example, be there for them. That’s all I want, is for you to be with them, play, laugh and adventure.
