Understand why Boys and Girls don’t learn the same way

Boys and Girls don’t learn the same way

Boys and girls often learn and express themselves differently — not because one way is better, but because each child has unique strengths and needs. This is a beautiful thing, it doesn’t mean they’re completely different. Kids are all the same on many levels, they all need movement and physical expression, but overall little girls find it easier to sit and be, while little boys find it more difficult.

Some girls can find it hard to sit still and be in circle time too, but overall majority of boys find it harder to just be. They both learn the most through play, but there’s some activates that serve the genders better.

The schooling system doesn’t consider this at all, and most public schools are outdated. Kids should have a choice on which classes they want to attend. They shouldn’t be punished for wanting something different, or be perceived as different.

Now more than ever, it’s crucial to educate both genders on this and ask them what do you enjoy?

Some children, especially energetic ones, are sometimes labeled as having attention difficulties. In many cases, what they really need is an environment that supports movement and curiosity. If they do have ADHD, boy or girl, they need an environment that’ll make them thrive, because when harnessed in the rightful way, ADHD can be a gift. Big energy and big dreams.

The solution is getting to know your child and seeing if you’re placing them in the rightful environment. Then it’s to consciously direct them into surroundings that are more so for them.

Everyone is different, we can’t just say this is for little boys. Also, some boys may enjoy the activities that girls more so enjoy, vice versa.

What’s been your experience?

From your own perspective, your upbringing as a child and if you’re a parent from the view of raising your little one?

I have two boys, very active boys. When they interact with other kids, I normally see girls being more calm and emotionally regulated. They’re still full of energy and love to do what most kids do! That’s to run, jump, adventure and climb.

Many parents have said that they’ve noticed a huge difference between their girl and boy, that the boy seems to be less emotionally regulated and more active.
